What you are buying
A term pass is a single payment that unlocks the video catalogue until a fixed end date. It is not a subscription: nothing renews, nothing is billed again, and you will never be charged automatically.
The end date is shown before you pay and on your account page. It is set per term and typically falls a week or two after the exam period. Buying a new pass while an old one is still running extends your access rather than replacing it — you never lose days you already paid for.
A live session is a separate, one-off purchase of one seat in one session. It is not included in a term pass and a term pass is not required to buy one.
Your account is yours alone
One account, one person. Sharing your login, your password, or a session link with anyone else is not allowed.
Each account may be used on up to two devices. This is deliberately generous — a laptop and a phone — and it is how we keep the price where it is instead of pricing for the assumption that every account is being shared.
Downloading, recording, re-uploading or redistributing the videos is not allowed. They are licensed to you for your own study, not transferred to you.
If an account is clearly being shared or the videos are being redistributed, we may suspend it. Where that happens we will tell you why and, if you disagree, look at it again.
Live sessions: paying and cancelling
When you book a seat, your card is authorised, not charged. The money is held by your bank and nothing leaves your account.
We take the payment three days before the session starts. Until that moment you can cancel your seat yourself from the session page, the hold is released, and you pay nothing at all. No fee, no form, no waiting for a refund — because there is nothing to refund.
Once the payment has been taken — inside those last three days — the seat is no longer cancellable, because at that point the time has been set aside for you and cannot realistically be resold.
If a group never fills, nobody is charged. The authorisation simply lapses.
One exception, in your favour: a session booked more than a week ahead may have to be charged earlier, because a card authorisation does not last indefinitely. If that happens and you then cancel with more than three days to go, we refund you in full — the promise above still holds.
If we cancel a session, for any reason at all, you get your money back in full. Where it was only held, the hold is released immediately. Where it was charged, it is refunded.
Refunds on term passes
A term pass is refundable if the service does not work: videos that will not play, a site that will not load, an account you cannot get into, or content that is missing or broken. Tell us what happened — a screenshot, an error message, the date and roughly what time, or the name of the video is plenty. If the problem is on our side, you get your money back.
It is not refundable because you changed your mind, stopped studying the subject, passed the exam early, or did not watch as much as you meant to. The pass gives you access; using it is up to you.
Nothing in these terms removes a right that the law of your country gives you as a consumer. Where local law and anything written here disagree, local law wins.
What we promise, and what we do not
We will try to keep the site up and the videos playing, and we will fix what breaks. We cannot promise it is never down: the site depends on other companies (hosting, video delivery, payments) and they have bad days too.
The videos are study material made by one person. They are not official course material, they are not endorsed by your university, and they are not a guarantee of a grade. If they contradict your lecturer, believe your lecturer — they are the one marking.
We do not promise that any particular course, video or session will stay available forever. If we withdraw something you paid to access during your term, tell us and we will make it right.
Behaviour in live sessions
Be civil to whoever else is in the room. Sessions are for working on the material.
Do not record a session without asking everyone in it first. Other people's questions are not yours to publish.
We may remove someone from a session, and refund them, if they make it unusable for the others.
Changes and closing your account
You can close your account at any time by asking us. We delete your personal data as described in the privacy policy. A term pass you already bought is not refunded on closure unless one of the reasons above applies.
We may change these terms. If a change matters — anything about money, access or your data — we will say so by email rather than quietly editing this page. The date at the top always tells you when it last changed.
Changes never apply retroactively to a pass or a seat you already bought. What you agreed to when you paid is what you get.
