Everything is free. This is the vote.
Every video and every quiz is free, and will stay free. A contribution does not buy anything: it is the clearest way of telling me this is worth continuing, and it is the number I can put in front of EPFL or an association when I ask them to back it properly.
What it actually does
- Says the project should continue. That is the main one: a handful of students putting in five francs tells me more than a thousand page views.
- Builds the case for real support. "They used it, and some paid without being asked" is what gets a school or an association to fund extending it to BA2 and BA3.
- Pays the bills in the meantime: video hosting and the domain, which arrive whether or not anyone watches.
Anything from CHF 2 to 500. No comment attached to this one.
Payment goes through Stripe — the card details never touch this site. One-off, nothing recurring, nothing to cancel.
Support that costs nothing
This counts for as much as the money: use the videos, tell me what was unclear or too fast, and send the site to someone in your section. Students coming back week after week is the other half of the same argument, and the half I would rather have.
A contribution is a donation, not a purchase: it unlocks nothing, because everything is already open, and giving nothing costs you nothing. Live sessions are the one thing that is paid, because they are hours of someone's time.
